Initiations

We offer various Vodu and Afa (Ifa) initiations as a team while coordinating with our main shrine, Afrikan Magick Temple, in Accra, Ghana.

We also train those interested in and with a calling for priesthood on a case-by-case basis.

Some of the initiations we offer:

Afa Initiation and Training

Afa initiation is done to fortify one’s destiny and obtain a blueprint of how to live in alignment with one’s highest self. We offer this initiation typically twice a year (in January or June) at our shrine in Ghana. In addition to Afa initiation, we also train upcoming or novice priests who want to improve their skills as a diviner, healer, Afa (Ifa) priest/priestess (Bokor) through a combination of in-person and remote coaching.

Abraxas (Afrikan Magick Temple) Initiation

Abraxas, one of the patron deities of our shrine, is an initiation done for those wishing to embark on the path of priesthood by improving their psychic abilities.

Togbe Dzorkpata Initiation

This is the patron protection deity (Vodu) of our family and shrine. Initiations can be done in person or remotely, and a protective bracelet will be sent to you wherever you are. Dzorkpata protects against physical and spiritual attacks.

Togbe Akain Initiation

One of the patron deities’ of our shrine, Akain, assists in enhancing clairvoyant abilities, especially including ancestors and the dead. He also attracts wealth and opportunities.

Mami Wata initiation

For those with a natural disposition to marine deities, Mami Wata initiation serves as a formal introduction to these collections of deities with tailor-suited advice on how to connect with them for enhanced clairvoyance, stabilized relationships, and attracting good luck in one’s life.

Se (Destiny) Initiation

In the Ewe Vodu worldview, we are born with both positive (Senyue) and negative (Se Voen) destinies that compete and positively or negatively influence our lives. The Se initiations are aimed at ritually working both these elements to positively influence one’s life path, career, health, spiritual development, etc.
